        read different books with different theories on how to go about it and just kinda took what i thought made sense. i'm hardly a pro, but it's fun fucking with them. i'm not an expert, obviously, just one of millions who like writing scrips.

        Fair enough. It is a lot of fun. I have one story that I'm not sure how to even translate to a visual format because a lot of the symbolism involves not actually seeing it on screen, but only having it indirectly described via text.

        that's another issue, too. some things belong in book form. I don't have the patience to write books, so i start and stop and work on other shit. so i've got lots of fragments i've been building on for a long ass time, unfinished, from novels to short stories. screenplays are such a lean format, i can get thru them before my mind gets drawn to another concept.
