      Hi Alisha! I've been busy helping out my in-laws over the past month. Our last trip to NC to see our granddaughter was Aug. 1st, and since we've been back, my FIL came out of the hospital with complications from Diabetes, not being able to walk (or drive), then my MIL fell soon after and fractured her kneecap. She has been with us at our home for the past two weeks, until she gets staples out from recent knee surgery (on Wed). I've been really busy (a bit overwhelmed at times), but things are getting less stressful (thankfully). We will see the grandbaby in November as our next scheduled trip to NC, then I will be flying home over Christmas to see my family in PA and will also see the baby over the holidays while up north. How have you been?

    In 2006 I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. I quickly found out that actually practicing psychology is not for me.

    I recently moved back from Hawai'i and now I am a licensed financial adviser at one of the top financial institutions in the United States. Basically, I answer incoming calls where people yell at me because they can't have their money, and occasionally I get to do something awesome like make a trade on the stock market. I work with the best team of people I could ever imagine, and because of that - I love my job.

    I serve on the Board of Directors for a local no-kill cat shelter - Helping Paws Pet Haven. I am also the Editor of the quarterly newsletter. I usually post it on the website - www.hpph.org.

    Some other things...I am an avid reader, smart, cute, funny, ditzy, silly, caring, loving, friendly, basically, freakin amazing.

    The most important thing in my life is my son...he is the earth, I am the moon! I love every minute we spend together.
