  1. amoeba15 I knew it! I'm surrounded by Assholes!

I call your attention to this, 6ix:

Not always. Some people do have awfully short fuses that don't really need much to get ignited.

if pissing people off was that easy, anyone could do it. most on LG who try, fail miserably, and the reason is simple. that wiki definition is generic and applies to forums in general, so in general, it's true.

it would be very true on facebook, for example, where most people have never seen a troll before.

however, forums like this one, where users are very used to trolls, having seem them for yrs on end, it's very difficult to piss people off, cos anyone who tries is quickly spotted, called a troll, and ignored.

this is why most trolls who float thru here trying to stir shit up, fail, cos the users here have their guards up and see it coming. on a site like this one, a troll has to overcome everyone being on the lookout for any sign of trolling.

so, to piss people off on a site like this one, you have to sneak up on them.

you truly have to hit a nerve so they get so mad they forget the fact that they know what a troll is and aren't supposed to let this person get to them. this is very hard to do.

take this thread by debbie, a person who wants to be a troll but fails:

notice how it only has 3 or 4 posts. just saying inflammatory things is not enough on a site like this.
