Why make him get snipped? If you don't want to pop another one out then get yourself snipped.

He's already volunteered to do it. He said it's an easy procedure for him and major surgery for me, so why not go the easy route?

Wrong. You can have a laparoscopic tubal ligation done. It's not open heart surgery and it's just as easy as a vasectomy. But whatever.

If I had to have a c-section for some reason, I'd go ahead and do a tubal at the same time though.

Laps are NOT easy! They have to put you out, where as for a vascetomy they do not. Recovery time is longer. They are not the same.

Is it the same type of recovery time that you'd have for any other laproscopic surgery? Like having your gallbladder removed?

My mom was awake when her gall bladder was removed laparoscopically. :-|

No, since they're not removing any sort of mass (as far as I know- mine when I had my dermoid removed the recovery was horrible, the second one where the cyst burst and they were just removing fluid was not nearly as bad. I was fine in two days!)
