Blog I Don't Get Homosexuality

I know I brought up race at some point for comparison purposes. To me, discrimination and prejudice based on race and sexuality are similar issues so it was logical for me to bring it in as the easiest way to show where I'm coming from.

i agree completely. and i don't see where you or anyone else drew a comparison in a racist way.

I don't remember where I drew the comparison, but it's in here somewhere. I don't remember how racist my post/posts was/were because I was just making my point and figured it didn't matter when it's clear I wasn't stating something I actually thought, but stating something that would be a stupid thing to think for real.

that's how i took all the racial comparisons, as hypotheticals. FITS mentioned blacks having a higher likelihood of contracting certain illnesses. this is a valid claim and a sound example of a defect.

calling people or things these people are susceptible to a defect may be insensitive but it's not racist.

and frankly i don't know how else to state the case properly other than to use the correct term for what it is.

This thread clarified a lot of things, some of which had to do with gay marriage...
