    this isn't far off. she absolutely does think the world revolves around her. it's called being spoiled.

    she was born with not only 2 older sisters, but too much older sisters, one of whom was a teenager, the other a few yrs away, plus parents who doted over her cos she was obviously so much younger than her older sisters.

    so she had 4 people, 3 female, catering to her every move, plus all the friends of her sisters who just thought she was the cutest precocious thing ever, especially since most of them didn't have siblings that young.

    by age 3 or 4, she had an older sister who could drive, so she then had 3 drivers available, one of whom was a teenager and in some ways easier to manipulate.

    she was very advanced in every way, particularly in math, so throw in how everyone's just so impressed with everything she does, both at school and at home, where her advanced communication skill converted into a smart mouth everyone thought was cute instead of what it was...bratty.

    she gets every damn thing she wants in life. she's very cute, so guys follow her around. she's got a smart mouth, which seems to attract even more men who are challenged by her and get fixated trying to impress her.

    school is a joke for her. she breezes thru that like a sip of lemonade, which strangely attracts a lot of much older men, it seems.

    because she's smart, she's given all kinds of shit people convince themselves she should have as a part of her "education" - so she gets the latest gadgets throughout the yr so her mind can "wrap around" them. her entire childhood was a steady drip of Lego sets her dad brought home at random for her to build. nowadays she's working on her 3rd or 4th smart phone. she's gone thru and iPhone and a droid, now she's sporting a droid razr, all of which she got outside of a birthday or christmas - so basically she got them "just because."

    senna was paying for her service plan on the last 2 phones, someone else i'm sure is paying for this latest one.

    the thing is, she's spoiled and bratty, but smart enough not to take advantage of it and kick the gift horse in the mouth, so she continues to get the red carpet rolled under her feet. she's never abused the phone plan senna got her. never runs up a bill. always stays within her minutes.

    she's got a duplicate debit card of mine, for emergencies, but again, she's never used it without asking and doesn't really ask much, so she appreciates what she gets - that or, again, she's smart enough to fake it.

    so, basically, she thinks the world revolves around her cos, well, pretty much is always has. why else would her parents name her narcissa?

    i don't see anything wrong with her being a brat. i'm just curious if she doesn't abuse it all cos she's a true disciple of siding with right over wrong or whether that super brain of hers is calculating the benefits over the costs and opting to be smart about it.

    Hm... I don't know much about Kahlua's personality. But she's got it a bit rougher than Haruhi.

    No one has to worry about that if they hurt her feelings too bad, she'll wind up ending the world and everything in it. Of course, Haruhi has no idea she is a Goddess. Everyone just does what they can to keep her somewhat content.
