LG, 6ix, monkeys and feces

I alluded to this before, but let me restate it. At the zoo, you will find that sometimes the primates (the ones on the enclosing side of the cage) start defecating and flinging their feces at the humans (the primates not enclosed by the cage). If you were unaware of this behavior, try searching youtube. Now, normally one would expect that, not wanting to become soiled with monkey feces, the humans would beat a hasty retreat, but oddly enough, you will find crowds gathering around, risking becoming victims of the slinging of simian scat.

Why would this be the case? Well, I might suggest that one possible explanation is that humans, being primates themselves, like to be reminded of how much more “evolved” they are. After all, the human might muse, when I become upset by the circumstances of my life, I do not defecate into my hand and then walk toward the source of my irritation; I just honk the horn and tailgate, … et cetera.

I think much the same might be happening here with LG and 6ix. 6ix, either because he is as obtuse, megalomaniacal, and obstreperous as he appears to be, or because he enjoys acting the part in order to relish in the reaction he provokes (and personally, I suspect that it is a good dose of both), plays the part of the proverbial pooping primate while LG plays the part of the sapient gawkers.

Make of this observation what you will. Monkeys rarely throw anything at the apathetic. Pay attention to the monkey . . . .

Then why does 6ix call every one else apes too? Besides apes come in a variety of different colours. I think of ape as an insult because it suggests that the recipiant is unevolved or stupid. It also suggests being ugly and hairy. I don't really see where race comes into it.

I for one can't stand the racial slurs against 6ix, Kahlua and Sprada. It takes the amusement/entertainment factor of whatever arguments and makes them sad.

I don't care how much I disagree with 6ix or anyone else on this site. I would never use racial slurs. It's wrong on the deepest of levels, and no one deserves that kind of disrespect.
