Hello. So I have this problem. If I don't eat like a pig I get dizzy and shake and break out into a cold sweat. I've been tested several times for diabetes and hypoglycemia but my blood sugar is normal. For breakfast I will eat a protein bar or some cereal or granola with soymilk. But within an hour, I am shaking and shivering and I feel like I'm going to pass out. I have to eat every few hours. The only way to not shake in the morning for me is the eat an egg and cheese sandwich or some kind of meat. The problem is, I have no gall bladder and I have problems with fatty foods. Help?

I hate a huge bowl of cream of wheat with soy milk and syrup about an hour ago, but now I am having dizzy spells and I feel like I might pass out. I may have to go get a fast food breakfast.

    I need a nutritionist.

    Nutritionists?

I have the same problem, I don't think I'll ever know what it is...I just try and eat every 3 hours, little things. Bring a few snacks to work/school with you.

My friend has this issue. The only solution is to eat. Technically, this is how our bodies are supposed to work. We're not really designed to sit down at one time and eat til we bust and then go without for eight hours until the next meal. We're supposed to be eating (not gorging) every three to four hours.

Orange juice is really good for people with hypoglycemia, so try that? I know you said you didn't have it, but I figure it would work the same way with your blood sugar.

OJ's a good idea. I did some more research and I think I might have a protein deficiency. That would explain the weakness and it also can cause blood sugar to drop suddenly.

It's reeeeeeaaaaaaally hard to be protein deficient unless you're a veggie/vegan with a crap diet, or just not eating.

I'm glad you said that because I was just looking up causes/effects of protein deficiency and found that the liver could be involved. I just had a blood test which showed that my liver enzyme levels are not right. I think I may be on to something.

They'd have to be really not right for that to be the cause too - you would either have to be a massive drinker, or have taken a paracetamol overdose or something like that. In short, you would be quite sick....which I wouldn't have thought you are.

Maybe that's not what it is then. I'd say I'm moderately sick. I have terrible digestive issues which I'm seeing a specialist for. I wonder if it's all related.
