What are some websites you trust when doing online shopping for clothes and shoes?
  2. Flece Lurker

    I've ordered from:

    Maxstudio.com
    Forever21.com
    Target.com
    Shoebuy.com
Kohls.com (shoes only, never ordered their clothing)
    Victoriassecret.com

Those are the ones I can recall off the top of my head. I don't think any of them screwed up.

I'm concerned with the items actually being as portrayed on the site. I've been going to gojane.com for years but have never risked buying.
  4. Flece Lurker

I'd say I've had about 85% luck with things being perfectly perfect. Max Studio probably had the biggest differences, but their quality is so nice that I was always pleasantly surprised for the better.

Bust out the tape measure to check your size against theirs, and if there's any lingering doubts, don't buy.

I've had no bad experiences with any online ordering that I can remember.
  6. I think I remember someone saying that gojane.com's stuff is cheaply made.

I don't buy clothes or shoes online because of my weird sizing, so I can't recommend anywhere, but piperlime.com looks legit, for shoes.

Thank you! I've never known of anyone who has shopped there and was curious.

I don't think I'd risk pants or shoes (again) but I'm considering maybe jumping in and getting a dress or shirt some time soon.

The only complaint I have about VS is that sometimes their colors are not accurately represented. But just slightly.
  9. angee resident fashionista

    On that note...

Wetseal and F21 sizes run all over the place, they have crazy sizing. My last order wasn't so bad.

    VS usually runs big.

Puma has horrible returns, they take forever to refund your money.

Zappo's and Sephora are nice because they both have free return shipping.

This is all really helpful. Thanks guys. Keep 'em coming.

I like modcloth.com. Never had a problem with them.

Finally visited the site (modcloth.com). Love the dresses! Especially the Carmen Sandiego one. A bit expensive for me, though.

    Carmen Sandiego!?

    It's sexy.

You need the coat and hat to go with it.

I like the Carmen San Diego one. When I planned my other cousin's wedding for her she wanted me to wear something to fit the color scheme but not like the bridesmaids. I ended up with this one from modcloth, love it :

    The accessories are cute too.

I've personally had good experiences with ordering from Payless, Alloy, Delias, and AE. Those might be too teenager though.

I've heard good things about most of the places other people listed though!

For the Brits, Irish and Spanish, I would say next.co.uk. I've ordered a few things and the items I got were perfect, not least that the delivery was really fast.

Canadian online retailers suck ass. To get anything good you normally have to pay to order from the U.S. *IF* they even ship to Canada. It's really a miserable experience normally.
  20. heypretty Sticky?!

I haven't ordered from modcloth.com yet, but I definitely plan to!

I love their accessories and house stuff.
